Lakewood
Pacific Junior Football, Inc. was incorporated in 1973. However we
have been participating within the City of Lakewood since 1960. No
other organization has had as many participants or championships as we
have at Lakewood Pacific Junior Football, Inc. It is our firm belief
that your child is the most important reason that we are here.
We not only teach them discipline, team spirit, fair competition, and
leadership skills, we teach them confidence and a sense of self
importance. It is not all about playing the game of football or
participating in cheer, but about realizing the significance of
these values in their everyday lives. As the City of Lakewood's Slogan
States... Times Change, Values Don't. That is what the belief of
Lakewood Pacific Junior Football, Inc. is today and will continue to
be tomorrow.

CRAIG
BURRIS WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY LAKEWOOD
|
|
It
is with much sadness that we must report to you that we lost
our Conference Executive Director Craig Burris Friday, April
18th. This wonderful man devoted many years of his life and
family to the PCC Conference and all 19 cities that
participated over the years. He touched many lives within the
league and many children who passed through the program are
better people and adults because of his influence on their
young lives. Craig was a wonderful husband, father and
grandfather to many people...and most important, a wonderful
friend to all PCC families.

will be selling memorial wristbands with all proceeds going to
the Craig Burris Fund. We will let everybody know as soon as
they are available, and will be sold during all remaining sign
up dates for the families to wear during the 2008 season.
Please
continue to pray for Cathy and her family at this extremely
difficult time. They will need comfort and support today and
in the weeks and months ahead. Please

Registration
for new and returning players/cheerleaders will be Saturday, May
3rd at Del Valle Park, doors open promptly at
10:00am
and will close at
2:00pm.
We are proud to announce that March 1st and April 5th
sign-ups were a great turn-out with 300 football
and 100 cheer sign-ups,
thank you all for
participating. Roster spots are quickly filling, therefore
sign-ups will be taken on a 1st come 1st served
basis. Get
a head start! To expedite the registration process, please print
and complete the registration forms and bring them to our scheduled
